Spotting Kākā is a wide scarf that buttons to keep in place to be worn as a substitute for a cardi. Diamond panels on each end are formed with cable and lacework.
The pattern is designed for a simple workhorse worsted dk yarn.
The pattern was named after a trip to the Pureora forest full of Kākā (parrot). The half-finished scarf was left at home and missed during the evening in the forest lodge.
